We were approached by a UK charity that supports children in the former Soviet Union who suffer from cerebral palsy. The brief was to design a small bi-lingual (English and Russian) brochure site with the ability to make online donations via WorldPay.
The Centre for the Study of Financial Innovation approached Ampheon with a request to build an online store to sell their publications. Due to the layout and display of the publications, and because they are available as both downloadable books and via post a custom-written store was required. The project has allowed the charity to now reach their members more easily thus increasing revenue and providing a better member service. Payment is by invoice and via WorldPay

Initially joining Ampheon as a hosting client, Ampheon were later requested to build a small brochure site detailing information about the client and their services.

A primary requirement for the development of this site was to be extremely lightweight on graphics as the primary market (Sub-Saharan African Nations) would likely have poor Internet connections. The site allows online subscription purchase, viewing and downloading of informational statistics, and also features automated subscription renewal reminders and multiple data formats to reduce administrative overhead and make the services offered available to the widest audience.
Ampheon were requested to build this web site by an existing client. The purpose of the site is to promote the annual charity fun run event in Oxford, so as to make it easy for potential runners and sponsors to find information.
