Data Security

All of your data is encrypted on your computer before it is transmitted to the twin mirrored data centres. An encryption key is needed to translate your data back into usable form.

When you start your account, you select your own encryption key meaning only you have access to your data.

Scheduled and Manual Backup Options

An automated scheduler ensures your backups take place either daily at any time that you specify, on certain days, or whenever you exit Windows.

Backups can also be started manually at any time.

Optimised Data Transmission

The software is designed to backup your information quickly and inexpensively by saving only your new or modified data.

This is achieved using block differential technology to analyse at disk level which portions of a file have changed.

Round the Clock Data Access

Access to your data at the backup data centres is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Easy Restore

The software shows the data in a standard graphical display of files and folders, including options for searching and sorting through stored data. You can even view your files as they existed on any previous date.

You can recover everything, or retrieve individual files selectively just by pointing and clicking on file names.

Restore Versions of a File

The most recently backed-up version of any file is retained until 45 days after you delete it from your computer. In addition, we retain up to 10 versions of each file, each for 45 days from the date of backup.

CD Restore Option

In addition to our online recovery services, we can deliver your data to you on CD-ROM. To order a CD, simply contact our Customer Support team.

Upon receiving a CD request, we write your encrypted files onto CD, along with a special version of the software, which will allow you to decrypt and restore your data. You may choose to restore your files to your original computer, or any other computer of your choice.
